As the Apostle Paul was Converted, they can then strengthen there circles of influence and Boldly declare…As (JESUS ) is, SO ARE WE IN THIS WORLD!! (1 John 4:17).
Our Mission
The mission of Faith Assembly Christian Center TLW, (The Church Where Dreams Come True) in Altavista and Lynchburg, Virginia, is to reach the world for Jesus through the Word of God by allowing growth in mind, will, and emotions. This mission is achieved through the "5 E's."
Evangelism
Not everything can be done inside the church. The training ground is inside of the church, but the work must be done on the street. Every week, a team goes into the community to reach people who are unable to get to us.
Education
Once we evangelize, we bring them into our training camps—the church (Hour of Power Center) in Lynchburg, VA. We teach the word of God.
Empowerment
People have the right to be edified and fortified. There are gifts that lie dormant within each person, and we encourage them to explore and use their gifts. We empower them through the "3 C's"—Challenge, Change, and Commit.
We challenge them to search for the greater gift that are inside them. We encourage them to change and realize that their dreams can come true. Then, we try to get them to commit to what they've decided to achieve until they succeed.
Entrepreneurship
As we empower people, we help them to realize that their gifts and talents are a means for them to have their own business. We teach administration, organization, structure, vision, and discipline to help them hone their skills and achieve their goals.
Edification
As they begin to grow in the other 4 E's, it is important to encourage them and provide word-based reinforcement to each and every person, regardless of what background or position they come from. The Lord builds on the foundation of who we are in Him through moral and religious knowledge, which increases as we develop a relationship with Him.
Our Vision
Our vision is saving souls and helping people to achieve their dreams through faith in the power of the word of God. Our vision is based on Biblical principles within this scripture:
"And the Lord answered me, and said, "Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry."—Habakkuk 1:2
